Medical School Interview Practice

In the UK, almost every Medical and Dental school makes offers only after an interview. This is why you want to make sure you have prepared yourself to give your best impression.

Medical and Dental schools want to know what you are really like, not just what they’ve seen on paper. The interview can be the deciding factor for a school’s decision on whether or not they give you an offer. Therefore, practising for interviews is essential for building your confidence.

After going through the process of your UCAS application, UKCAT and Personal statement you want to make sure you are prepared if you are called for an interview!

M&D Pre-Med Interview Practice

The M&D Pre-Med Programme offers preparation for your Medical or Dental school interview.

These sessions usually last about 30 minutes and are conducted by experienced M&D consultants, with a panel usually including teachers, medical or dental students, nurses, practicing doctors or dentists and a lay person.

We will provide you with advice on the best answers to give to the toughest questions, as well as practice on commonly asked questions and how to go about giving your best performance so that you stand out from the rest.

These sessions are usually conducted at Birkbeck University and/or central London and places are reserved for all students on the M&D Pre-Med. However, there may be an opportunity to accept external students in exceptional circumstances. Please contact us for further information.
